Are you new to yoga and interested in understanding its potential impact on your well-being? I invite you to participate in my research study!

Title: Yoga and Well-being Research Study

What’s Involved?

  • 6-week Yoga Program: Attend weekly yoga classes specifically designed for newcomers. You’ll experience the transformative potential of Ashtanga Yoga in a supportive and encouraging environment.
  • Pre and Post-Assessments: Complete simple self-report questionnaires before and after each class to help us evaluate the effects of yoga on stress, depression, and anxiety levels.

  • Contribute to Science: Your participation will help advance scientific understanding of how yoga impacts mental health.
  • Free Yoga Classes: Enjoy 6 weeks of yoga classes tailored for newcomers, at no cost.

Who Can Participate?

  • Yoga Newbies: Individuals with little to no prior yoga experience!
  • Aged 18+: You need to be over 18 to join.

Venue: Elysium Wellness Centre
Time: 6-7pm or 7-8pm Fridays for 6 weeks
