About me

My yoga journey began in 2013, prompted by a sore back and limited flexibility. Progressing from struggling to touch my toes, I immersed myself in online videos and attended numerous local yoga classes in Newry. These experiences fueled my desire to become a Yoga Teacher as I witnessed the transformative power of yoga. Exploring various yoga styles, pilates, and other practices, I conducted thorough research. This quest for knowledge led me to Kranti Yoga in Goa, India, where I dedicated myself to a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program in Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. From that point, my passion has been to share yoga’s benefits and help others through this incredible practice.

When I returned from India, I started teaching beginners yoga in Newry, my hometown, discovering a deep passion for imparting this practice. Eager to enhance my knowledge, I returned to India the following year for further training. There, I completed an extensive 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training encompassing Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Myofascia Release. This training equipped me to teach Ashtanga Primary Series, Pranayama, Meditation, Kriyas, and Myofascia Release Techniques.

During my time in India, I extended my stay in Goa to share my love for yoga by teaching classes. Additionally, I pursued an advanced 100-hour course, ‘Inspiring the Yoga Teacher,’ in Romania, further enriching my understanding of yoga. My yoga journey has been enriched through participation in yoga retreats and classes across various countries.

Having accumulated over 2000 teaching hours and six years of dedicated service, I have achieved the Experienced Teacher level with Yoga Alliance UK. Presently, I teach beginners yoga classes and Ashtanga yoga, both in-person and online. I extend my gratitude to every individual who has joined my classes, sharing their yoga journey with me. I strive to cultivate a warm and welcoming atmosphere, promoting a non-judgmental and relaxing environment for all. Everyone is welcome to join; feel free to book or reach out to learn more about my classes.
